Sheldon Gailing

Sheldon began his career in 1982 working for his father who owned an automatic transmission repair shop. Becoming a certified journeyman in 1988, Sheldon obtained his diploma in Business Administration at Lethbridge Community College in 1990. Applying his knowledge, He joined Dunlop Ford as a service advisor.

Three years later, Sheldon left Dunlop Ford to take on a position as a shop foreman in Calgary, eventually being promoted to service manager.Maintaining his position at a local GM dealership, Sheldon and his wife moved back to Lethbridge in 1996.

In August 2003 Sheldon was welcomed back into the Dunlop family to work at Dunlop Sterling Western Star. In the role as Service Manager, Sheldon has contributed to their tremendous growth over the years. He manages extremely busy bays and leads a dedicated team of highly trained staff. Motivating, supervising and encouraging, Sheldon firmly believes that everyone plays a key role in the continued success of the service department at Dunlop Sterling Western Star.

No job is too big or too small at Dunlop Sterling Western Star. Our qualified technicians are certified for maintenance and major repair for Cat, Cummins, Detroit and Mercedes Benz engines as well as Eaton/Fuller, Rockwell, Spicer and Benz transmissions and Eaton and Rockwell differentials.

With seven service bays, a lube bay, and a factory-trained staff with more than 100 years combined trade experience, Dunlop Sterling Western Star can service everything from your air conditioner on your Western Star to your regular lube job on your new Sterling Actera.

Our service department is licensed to perform inspections to all commercial vehicles including buses and school buses, write-offs and out of province inspections.
